We believe children should experience the joy of learning and performing music in an ensemble. Students at BCS Music Academy have the opportunity to learn a band or orchestra instrument through group lessons as well as in individual lessons. Our mission is to grow our music ensembles to prepare for performances, competitions and festivals.
No Experience Needed. Ages 9-14 (5th through 8th grade) or when the student has developed the physical abilities needed to play the desired instrument.
No music experience needed.
Not sure which instrument to choose? Students will have the option to try different instruments. We will have an instrument fitting and rental day (TBD).
Students should be prepared to practice 20-45 minutes/day, as we progress through out the year. Perseverance & patience are the skills needed for success while developing most skills. Playing a musical instrument is no different!
