Overview
We are thrilled to introduce a Children's Choir at the Academy, open to kids in grades K-8. Each week during choir rehearsals, students work on enhancing their vocal range, ear training, breath control, enunciation, and more. Our music lessons for kids will cover a variety of styles and songs that aim to inspire every child. With our friendly and dedicated teachers, your children will not only develop their musical talents but also work towards achieving their musical aspirations.
What styles of singing do you teach? Our voice teachers primarily focus on classical, jazz, and popular music, making our music lessons for kids a well-rounded experience. Additionally, we offer specialized instruction to enhance choir rehearsals, including forming a children's choir.
How qualified are your voice instructors? Our highly experienced voice and music instructors, who have received their education from prestigious institutions, bring over 25 years of professional performance and teaching experience to our music lessons for kids. This expertise ensures that whether during choir rehearsals or individual sessions, your child receives the best possible education in our children's choir.
Will there be performances? Yes, students in our children's choir will perform at a recital in December and in May. In addition to these recitals, they will have opportunities to showcase their talents around the community during choir rehearsals. Exact dates will be announced as we get closer to the events.
Is there a commitment requirement? Yes, we ask that students commit to one or both semesters for our children's choir, which includes choir rehearsals and music lessons for kids. Semester 1 runs from mid-October to the end of January, while Semester 2 spans from February to the end of May.
